KaMilo at Mauna Lani Resort
Over the weekend I had the opportunity to tour KaMilo at Mauna Lani. This planned community is being developed by Brookfield Homes Hawaii and, when completed, will offer 137 very well appointed single family and paired homes, all within the famed resort community of Mauna Lani on the beautiful Kona-Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Brookfield Homes Hawaii has similar developments at Wailea on Maui and Poipu on Kauai.
The 2-two level and 4 single level floor plans offered at KaMilo range in size from about 1600 square feet (interior) to over 2400 square feet (interior). I particularly like the Hoku “B” plan with the large courtyard and entry court as well as the detached 4th bedroom Ohana option. All plans are designed to reflect a casual island-style elegance and take full advantage of our indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Below are each of the models offered:
- Hoku A, One Level, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths
- Hoku B, One level, 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths
- Makani, Two Level, 3 bedrooms and 3 baths
- Mahina, Two Level, 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths
- Keanu A, One Level, 3 bedrooms and 3 baths
- Keanu B, One Level, 3 bedrooms and 3 baths
KaMilo offers lush green space as well as several pools, poolside cabanas and an exercise center. All homes feature 9′ ceilings and an impressive array of high-end features and finishes. Pricing for these luxury homes is very attractive and starts at around $840,000 (Keanu A model). At press time, there are 13 homes available in this resort community priced from $840,000 to $2,300,000. Click here to view the available properties.
Mauna Lani Resort features the legendary Mauna Lani Golf Course, beautiful beaches and a 230 acre archeological preserve with trails winding through historical sites, petroglyphs and ancient fishponds. A shopping complex located within the resort offers shopping, restaurants and a grocery store to serve the communities and guests of the resort.
