For the 8th year, museums around Hawaii Island are participating in “Celebrating Museums Month” by offering special incentives to members of other participating institutions. Some are offering free admission, some offer special tours and some offer free or discounted items from their store or gift shop.
Big Island museums are excellent resources for learning more about our natural surroundings, island history and ongoing scientific research. Members need to show a current membership card for any one museum to enjoy free admission to any of the museums listed below:
