Location: Kealakekua Bay Bed and Breakfast
Date: Saturday, May 21st at 5:00 pm
Farm to Fork Hawaii is the 1st locavore event to be held at Kealakekua Bay Bed and Breakfast. Connecting with sustainable agriculture on our island, the elegant dinner will highlight seasonal products and produce from local farms.
The evening begins at 5:00 pm with appetizers, followed by a three course dinner all paired with wine by the chef. Noted Chef Daniel Thiebaut of Daniel Thiebaut’s restaurant (Waimea) will design the menu and the wine pairings.
Featured farmers are Greg Smith, showcasing his organic garden produce from Earth Matters, Kealia Ranch’s Island veal and Kona Homestead’s 100% Kona Coffee.
Your hostess will be innkeeper Emily Peacock. My wife, Jean Hull, will lead discussion and dialogue with the farmers between courses.
The cost of the event is $85.00, all inclusive.
For tickets, please call (808) 328-8150.
